There is heartbreaking news for the fans who have been waiting for a long time to see Hollywood actor Tom Cruise’s mega project Mission Impossible 7 and 8 on screen. Once again, the release date of the film has been pushed ahead. Fans of Tom Cruise and the franchise had hoped that this film could be released this year but it is not happening.

As per reports, ‘Mission Impossible 7’ was scheduled to release on 22 September 2022 but it has now been postponed to 14 July 2023. On the other hand, the makers had made up their mind to release ‘Mission Impossible 8,’ on 7 July 2023, but now, its release has been pushed to 28 June 2024. Production company Paramount and Skydance have disclosed this in a statement given to Hollywood media.

The decision is said to be taken due to the rising cases of the COVID-19 pandemic around the world. The release date has been pushed due to the coronavirus infection forcing theaters across the globe to either be shut or allowed to open with limited seating capacity. At the same time, this film is one of the series of Hollywood films that have been doing heavy business at the box office. In such a situation, perhaps the makers are thinking of waiting for it without taking any risk.

The way the release dates of Mission Impossible 7 and 8 are going back and forth again and again, it is definitely breaking the patience of the fans waiting for this film.

Tom Cruise’s ‘Mission Impossible Fallout’ created a lot of buzz at the box office in 2018. The film was very much liked by the audience, ‘Mission Impossible: Fallout’ alone earned about Rs 5,800 crores at the box office. This film was the sixth series of Mission Impossible. Seeing the love received by the audience, the director of the film, Christopher Macquarie, now decided to release the 7th and 8th sequels of Mission Impossible soon.
